It both is and is not;
neither is, nor is not.
—Siddhartha Gautama

if you don't understand it, you don't. if you think you understand it, you really don't.

that's the part i find most appealing...

1. I understand what you meant!
What's really struck me is what it needs to lead to - and that is to candidates who understand and support the changes that are needed. It will eventually be about elections and getting out the vote. It's going to take time and patience....and courage, I think.

Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."

Bruce Lee, describing his martial arts style in a documentary about his life. It seems pretty apropos. Lee was a surprisingly deep thinker.

Another gem: "Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. "

Edited to add actual Bruce Lee quotes.

Sometimes Bob Dylan is pretty compelling, too. :)

And you know something is happening
But you don't know what it is
Do you, Mister Jones ?
