2. The older ones were raised on "What's good for General Motors is good for the U.S.A."
And the middle-aged ones don't have a clue about economics, they only care about guns, gays, atheists and abortionists, and have been fed the line that all the Democrats want is to take their hard-earned money from them and give it all to lazy welfare queens who need gas for their Cadillacs.

They've been taught to be afraid of Democrats, and the Democrats aren't doing jack shit to correct that impression.

3. I know, it's bizarre they joyfully support their own oppression.
But that's how they are....elected Pukes desperately want to become part of the 1% (if they aren't already); their supporters remind me of people who watch televangelists and send them money because they've been hoodwinked to believe the televangelists care about them and will help them. The opposite is true yet they can't see it; blinded to it. They can't make the connection between the gobs of money sent in good faith and the mansions and yatchs the televangelists own while their lives never improve and may even get worse because they send the crooks money!

5. As long as they get twice the rations in the breadline, they'll be happy.

It's more palatable that they screw themselves than to admit they are totally wrong about everything they understand about politics and economics.

6. I've noticed that many of the Rpercenters come out against X "entitlements"
but when it comes time for them to get them ... they don't refuse them ...

Social Security, Government Farm Subsidies, etc ...

9. anger is a narcotic, and they will defend their anger more than their loved ones, more than food.
they are addicted to living in an unjust world and venting their anger and righteous indignation on the poor, the blacks, the gays, the liberals, the hispanics, whatever.

they just can't help themselves.

if the world were a better place they wouldn't be able to get their anger fix.

woe unto he who comes between an addict and his fix.

12. They tend to be poorer than us.
They get all whipped up over social issues like guns, gays & abortion. They don't really understand the economic issues, but they are sure that that those baby-killing queer-lovers are wrong about them too. They have to be, don't they? They're un-American.

13. They believe the bootstraps myth
and believe that the only thing standing between them and grandeur is overregulation and unions.
