Poor Pres Obama and the Democrats the Upholding of the ACA has doomed them in November
Before the Court upheld it, the failure of the ACA was going to doom them
Funny how the talking point doesn't change

I guess if the Court announced they were going to wait a year to decide, the lack of any decision would also have doomed them

3. yw, rp!
they were harping big time before the ruling that if it was struck down it would deal a great blow to the WH. they had to get new marching papers once the pre-planned news responses were corrected and the actual ruling was discovered to be favorable for the pres.

4. Doomed if they do and doomed it they don't. (Good luck on Romneycare vs. ACA, Mitt!)
I cannot remember if it was Newton or little Ricky who said that Mitt was the single worst Republican to run against Obama on the ACA (only, of course, whoever it was said "Obamacare"). Whoever it was was correct.

Too bad we cannot drum more that ACA began as a Republican think tank idea that Gingrich and Romney both applauded, but that message is a two edged sword.

5. Color me stunned. The Today Show this a.m. characterized the latest Rethug attempts

to revive this as an election issue because of word games as "Republican attempt to make lemonade out of the lemons that the Supreme Court dealt them {in upholding the constitutionality of the mandate}. That is not an objective comment, though I beliee it is accurate.

The accuracy of the statement and, even more than accuracy, the "Democratic favorable" slant of the comment from the msm, are obviously what stunned me.

On This Week With Geoge Turd Steph, George Will stated that Roberts ruling was very conservative in that he (Roberts) cut back on federal power under the Commerce Clause for the first time since 1937 (pretty sure that was the year Will cited) and will use his words in his ACA opinion to strike down affirmative action and other liberal ideas.

Assumng Will is correct, the only comment I have is, if only the mandate were worth it.

Here is his comment to the same effect. http://www.postcrescent.com/article/20120702/APC06/307020024/George-Will-column-Ruling-win-conservatives

Interestingly, he admmits the U.S. "regime" is becoming more and more conservative, though his take on how that has been happening differs from my own. Still, the more typical view we tend to hear from the right is how America is turning into a Socialist state.

6. And Roberts' medications make him mentally unstable.
Hey, the conservatives should call for his immediate resignation. ;-)
