Police motorcycle escort for WH allegedly threatened the Obamas

How the hell do these guys get these jobs? I'm amazed at the level of idiocy I see in people who had to beat out a bunch of other people for decent paying jobs. Did they go cuckoo after they got the job, or did they hide their warped minds during test questions/interviews/training?

I knew no one was going to treat it as a threat against the President or the First Lady, even though he showed a photo of the gun he would use to shoot Ms. Obama.


For one thing, he is a cop. For another thing, his union is defending him. And it is an election year.

So, it's only a bad joke, for which he has been reprimanded. Case closed.



Threatening to shoot the obamas is a crime, whether you follow up on it or not, just like falsely yelling "fire' in a crowded theater or making a terrorist threat.

Question: Since when does a cop who makes a bad joke that is truly nothing more than a bad joke receive an official reprimand?

What happens to people who make a bad joke about bombs or terrorists being present while on airplanes or in airports?
