Edited on Sun Aug-12-12 01:24 PM by Contrary1

Following the Chick-Fil-A controversy, Bread8 Productions digs deep into food and gay culture in Austin to see which foods are gay and which are straight.

Make sure you stay through the credits. :)

2. The thread title alone made me do a double take, literally.
Was about to leave the site when I spotted it and had to come back to make sure I had seen it correctly.

Will have to watch the film later.

5. Not really
I have several conservative ministers pray with me before I choose what to eat. God's divine guidance prevents that from happening.

12. The risks cannot be overstated.
For better or worse, Boston Mayor Menino may have started this whole thing because a Chick Fil A was supposed to open up where a beloved Boston Irish Pbb at 1Quincy Market closes.

Quincy Market is a great place in general and well within walking distance of where I live.

But, eat at Chick Fil A? No way!

I have never eaten any food from Chick Fil A and I never intend to.

For one thing, I heard tghat eating at Chick Fil A lead to Marcus Bachman syndrome.

Oh, the horror! I would never take a chance like that.

8. Several of the comments indicated that some actually believed this video to be something
other than a joke.

"How stupid can people get? There is no such thing as gay food. Example: Hotdog without a bun according to this article is a gay food. Over my life time, I have seen plenty of people eat a plain hot dog and they are not gay..."

"This is stupid. The guy doing the "reporting" went to food carts to interview people.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that the kind of person running a food cart is also the kind of person who supports gay marriage. They are usually more liberal, 'free spirit' types of people..."

"I don't find this ireport funny. The people are lied to by the reporter posing as a conservative and leading the people with questions..."

"None. No foods are 'Gay'"

Really, as the first quote inquires: How stupid can people get?

10. Pretty damned stupid.
But, people who miss the sarcasm in the article are nowhere near as stupid as parents who believe that God wants them to shun their openly gay children.

(BTW, yes, I did realize your question was rhetorical, LOL.)
