So sad about the Massachusetts delegation.
For years, i have been so proud that the entire Massachusetts delegation, headed by Ted Kennedy, was ALL Democratic. (Especially proud of my own rep, too).

Well, you all know that what happened after Kennedy passed away. Don't get me started on the dishonest Brown turd.

Well, this year, John Tierney, one of the Democratic reps, is up to his eyeballs in scandal. His only defense, apparently, is that he has no clue that his wife and her family were doing illegal things. And that either makes him a dolt or a liar.

Needless to say, he has not received many donations. However, the Republican running against him has been able to raise money. As luck would have it, his parents apparently did some shady things, though he blames everything on their lawyer and business associates. But, hell, he was not married to his parents while these things were happening.

He is appealing personally too.

I have not given up yet on Warren, but it would take a miracle to save Tierney's seat.

I so miss the days before Kennedy got so sick.

2. And puzzling, unless you have a really dark mind.
The DNC's love affair with incumbents is supposely about the best chance at re-election. I think I could get elected before Tierney, though. So why did the DNC not find someone else to run?

Massachusetts has many great Democrats and Tierney is not even from an especially right leaning district.
