the crazies are goin' after Hill about benghazi
I love her correcting Sen Johnson, telling him what difference does it make now attacking her and her staff for what they first thought the reason was for the attack (because there was all those protests about the video).

more and video at link http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/23/hillary-clinton-libya_n_2534377.html

"I stood next to President Obama as the Marines carried those flag-draped caskets off the plane at Andrews. I put my arms around the mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters," she told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee at a jam-packed hearing.

At times emotional and fierce, she defended U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, who was vilified for widely debunked claims five days after the attack that protests precipitated the raid rather than terrorism. She challenged the GOP focus on Rice's comments, which were based on intelligence talking points.

"The fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest? Or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?" a clearly exasperated and angry Clinton told Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis. "It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, senator."

She insisted that "people were trying in real time to get to the best information," and that her focus was on looking ahead on how to improve security rather than revisiting the talking points and Rice's television appearance.

Facts do matter. So does what the government tells voting and taxpaying Americans and why it tells them what it tells them.

As the President and, I think, Crowley, pointed out when Obama debated Romney, he said the day after the attack that it was terrorism.

2. I doesn't seem to matter to these creeps,
that the President called it terrorism the very next day. They just keep repeating the lie.

Every stinking Republican has adopted this Fox "News" (Goebbels) strategy. These people will not acknowledge their basement level approval rating. They act as if what they do and how they conduct themselves is highly popular. Can you say "out of touch"?

4. Except that the official story changed after that next day and went full bore into

"there's this anti-Muslim film on you tube that caused everything."

Aside from helping to perpetuate the negative sterotype of Muslims as a people who would murder over cartoons of Mohammed or a lousy you tube video, they lied to us systematically and emphatically. They sent Rice around to all the talking heads TV shows to peddle that story to the American public, in a way reminiscent of the way that Bushco sold both the Iraq War and the bailout to the American public.

They even arrested the guy who made the film for old parole violations.

That was a lot of effort to make us believe something that was not so.

I am simply not built to apply double standards.

I very much mind being sold lies that way, regardless of whether Bushco does it or Obamadmin does it. I very much mind smearing a people that way, too.

I minded both those issues before the Republicans ever raised the one issue. There are posts here that show that. I just don't feel like digging up those links right now.

Does that make me Goebbels, too?

3. I loved what Hillary did too.
But the crazy righty extremists on Faux will spin it differently. It wouldn't matter if Jesus gave his personal approval to Hillary/Obama's actions, the righties would still froth at the mouth.
