Really? Is this what we've come to?
Breaking news on morning news programs. People thought some woman at the SAG awards had a wardrobe malfunction, but she didn't. It only looked that way.

North Korea, Iran, and probably others, are working on nuclear bombs.

The wheels are coming off the Middle East.

The global economy still has not recovered from the crash of 2008.

We still have troops dying in Afghanistan. Al Qaeda has a stronghold in Mali.

We are committing God knows what by drone in Pakistan, Yemen and elsewhere.

Our Constitution is shredded.

War crimes go unremarked on, let alone unpunished.

The rule of law is AWOL.

Every year, more wealth is transferred to the 1% from the 99%.

And a second where people mistakenly thought some celebrity had a wardrobe malfunction makes the news? Really?

Is that how lame our media has gotten. Or does our media think we're that lame?

Are we that lame?

2. yep.
and showing TMZ and other celebtainment shows after the "news" is a joke. It just cheapens the news. One of our stations talk to TMZ during the news broadcast, near the end, about what's coming up on TMZ.

3. Like our local morning news guy talks to Matt Lauer about what's coming on the TODAY Show?
Pathetic.

Then again, the TODAY Show is where I saw the burning question of whether this actress actually had a wardrobe malfunction at the SAG awards or not. So, it may be pretty much on a par with TMZ anymore.
