Just asking.

This morning, during a story about Caroline Kennedy, fabled expert on all things Japanese, governmental and diplomatic (emphasis on fable) arriving in Japan, I heard that we have 50,000 troop stationed in Japan. (Actually, it's closer to 53,00, but why expect accuracy from media?)

Now, I'd long heard that we've had troops in Japan and Germany since World War II. But, almost 53,000? That's almost as many troops as died in the Vietnam war.

Since Iraq, even with all the enlistments 911 inspired, all I've heard is how people have been re-deployed and re-deployed into combat, sometimes apparently beyond their mental tolerance. Just this morning, I saw a human interest story about a solder who got re-deployed back to combat, right before his wedding. (He just returned and the airport in his home town airport threw him a last minute wedding, right in the airport. Hence the human interest story.)

Yet, we have almost 53,000 troops in Japan? And another 45,000 in Germany? While we have about 63,000 in Afghanistan? Are we kidding me?

It's instructive (to me anyway). And look how many countries they list under "combat zones." I had no idea.

And this is just the info the secretive USG is willing to make public.

similar to the old Nazi Germany regime, the US military is about 3/4 too large. The mission size should be scaled way way way the fuck back. And that would still be plenty large enough.

How much longer are we the people going to accept the lie that we are under constant threat from the rest of the world? They pulled this shit throughout the cold war—overstating the Soviet threat to justify a massive military buildup and Vietnam. Now it has become just plain ridiculous. There is no there there.

I expect TPTB to enact another false flag event any day now.
