1. to wit: Dan Rather, Phil Donahue....
And to a more grim degree, a series of journalists who were killed for their work in the last forty years. Steven Kangas, Danny Casolaro, etc. etc. etc.

Many have been blackballed, too. Gene Lyons, Robert Parry, etc.

The beat goes on.

6. Which isn't saying much

MSNBC was mired in last place in the ratings behind pretty much everybody including Fox and CNN. I believe he had less than 1 million viewers when he went off.

I mean, I like the guy. I even got to chat with him in 2004 in Boston at the convention. It was an honor. He just lost his magic for TV when he left MSNBC.

4. When you make a positive difference, for the good of the people, you are gone.
Edited on Sun Jan-23-11 12:42 AM by pacalo
Fixed News makes a difference & stirs people to violence negative action, against the good of the people, but it will remain on the airwaves because its existence promotes the interests of the super wealthy & the corporations they run. The little people viewers who naively watch it, then vote against their own interest because Fixed News tells them what to think, are too blind to see the motives behind Fixed News. And so it goes...
