COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's spokesman said a lawsuit filed over her anti-union remarks has no basis.

International Association of Machinists on Thursday sued Haley in U.S. District Court in Charleston for remarks made last month indicating that the state would fight union organizing efforts at Boeing Inc.'s North Charleston plant.

their grip on power.

I hope they don't disappoint their base, 'cause that could get ugly.
