Update: At least 31 dead in apparent suicide bombing at Moscow Airport 130+ injured

At least 31 killed in Moscow airport explosion

Update at 9:53 a.m. ET: An apparent suicide bombing at Moscow's busiest airport has killed at least 31 people, according to the Russian Health Ministry, Russia Today reports.

RT says at least 130 people have been injured at Domodedovo airport in what the Russian Investigative Committee believes to be a terror attack.

1. This does not bode well....

...semi-frequent, random suicide bomb attacks are a lot more terror-inducing than the big 9-11 style operations, in my opinion. Imagine the impact if a few IEDs or suicide attacks go off at malls or highway overpasses in the U.S.

2. You are right there; 4 or 5 of those small scale attacks

would probably have more of a terrorizing effect than another big plane crash.
