It has become clear to everyone online that Al Jazeera/ English
has had the mosto comprehensive and least editorialized accounts of the events in Egypt and other disrupted regimes... The vast majority of Americans have no access to this outlet.

We can ask our cable companies to fix this here:

2. Part of the problem is that they've been caught in the past
with egg on their faces by airing planted stories from all sorts of intelligence services in the Middle East.

Still, their track record is one hell of a lot better than Pox News. They're a great resource since they've started their English service.

Short Al Jazeera newscasts are on daily at Link TV if your service provides it.

5. Specifics, please
Remember, we're talking about Al Jazeera English, here.

There are a number of misperceptions and myths that exist about Al Jazeera and Al Jazeera English in North America, that fortunately are not evident in the rest of the world. We would like to address some of these misperceptions head on: http://www.iwantaje.net/hm

8. IIRC, there's
an Al Jazeera Android widget/app. I haven't used it but I would expect it to highlight the same stories and updates as their website and TV newscasts.

6. actually, the vast majority of Americans do have access to it
through the internet- but I agree we should have the option to get it on cable.

10. I would but I've been cable free for over a decade.
I get all my news online and Al Jazeera has long been one of my staples. I like the Guardian too.

The thing that we call a TV is really just a thing to play dvds on.
