Hundereds of people have been killed in the protests in Egypt. Mubarak is an idiot if he believes that at this point the people of Egypt will settle for anything less than his head. He should leave the country while he still can. If he doesn't crush the resistance completely by force now Iran style, and since the army is not on his side it is not possible for him to do so, he will likely repay with his own blood at some point. Under no circumstance will the people of Egypt allow him to be part of whatever future they have in mind for the country, at this stage. He could have tried that before cops started to shoot up crowds.
