But certain steps needed to be taken, and they were correct steps.

No doubt there are next steps.

The people hate him and want him gone yet he insists on remaining.

I don't think these citizens are going to appreciate his stubbornness.

14. Yeah, I think they can.
People make choices in life. He could have gone peacefully, but the longer he stalls, he is seriously risking his life.

23. Here's the scenario as I see it in my mind movie
Wisner says, "Time to go pops."
Mubarak, stomps his feet, "But I don't wanna!"
Wisner shakes head, "Really, you're done. We can't and won't prop you up anymore. We gave you a couple of days to fix this and look what you did. You made things worse. So you gotta go."
Mubarak pouts, "I really gotta go?"
Wisner nods, "Yep, you gotta go."
Mubarak, eyes shifty, "Okay. I film the speech. You can go."

As Wisner walks out the door, Mubarak flips him the bird and tells his speech writer, "Fuck that guy, I'm not leavin'. They NEED me. They just don't know how much they need me. I'll show 'em!"

The End.

Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 04:41 PM by cal04
they are telling him to get out. They are calling for a larger protest
They want him to step down! They're reporting from where the protesters are. They were booing and listening to the state run radio. Chanting go away.
What an amazing sight

25. David Wu
congressman
I feel egypt deserves swift and peaceful transition for human rights, laws, and democracy
As a member of congress, we have a little more leeway
The wish of the people is very important
Been very clear with the president, intend to bring up egypt, china, and cuba
disconnection of internet and telephone pretty egregious, governments that are afraid of their people
the government should be of, for, and by the people
egypt is blocked in China
