Mubarak is seriously underestimating what's going on now.

His speech has upped the ante - he's shown he's not willing to address the people's grievances - thinks he can act like a strongman and people will give in.

If I were a betting person, I wouldn't put my money on him.

2. And coming out at the beginning and essentially condemning all the VIOLENCE,

blaming them. I think it was his goon squad who perpetuated any violence.

If I ever get a lot of power and can't see truth through my ego, just shoot me. You have my permission.
