Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) recently announced her opposition to the federal Transportation Security Administration's full-body scanners due to worries that "naked pictures" of herself could somehow end up on the internet for the world to see after being screened.

According to MinnPost, Bachamann told patrons at an Iowa coffee shop that she planned on opting out of such security procedures in order to avoid the possibility that such exposing images could end up online.

While certain full-body scan images have indeed been leaked, TSA officials have maintained that the devices' ability to save and upload images is disabled once they are deployed at airports.

Despite assurances from the TSA that it is impossible for the screening practice to result in the revealing images being broadcast publicly, Bachmann has come up with her own alternative. ............(more)

for once. These full body scanners are an enormous invasion of our privacy not to mention being detrimental to our health. It is BS! They amount to one more step towards total autocratic government without rights and more for the have mores. The elite in this country that have all of the money and political power do not concern themselves with this trivia and annoyance. They fly on government or private jets. These scanners are intended for the huddle masses and for the amusement of the elite.

The question and debate that every American should be asking is "why do they hate us"? This is what needs answered first and corrected politically or otherwise. We are never going to outspend the "terrorists" but that's exactly what some want us to do while we lose liberties.

So yes I agree 100% with Michelle Bachman and others on this issue.

Bats are lovely creatures, which are a great benefit to humans, by pollinating flowers, and eating mosquitoes and other nasty bugs. Michelle Bachmann, on the other hand, of no use whatsoever to anyone or anything.

Let's get the tea partiers to back us up on reasonable search and seizure, rather than ineffective irradiation of all of us, regardless of the possibility that we could or would cause harm to our fellow passengers.
