3. It's like listening to the whole protest at once

I had been listening to the BBC on NPR this morning and they never questioned the identity or intentions of the "pro Mubarak" provocateurs in the square, but the tweets tell the story of paid pro-Mubarak thugs, bearing gas cylinders and night sticks.

10. They seem to cycle down the page

and then some are either forwarded by others or resent, because they seem to repeat. I've not followed twitter or twitterers before, so I'm still getting a feel for it. Lot's of repeats, but interesting raw info.

11. Inciting provocateurs

is the age old antidote to popular uprisings. A crowd needs to be single mindedly committed to peaceful resistance to not fall for the manipulation which these hired thugs are dangling before them. Such commitment to peace is extremely extremely rare, but very powerful when it happens.
