Egypt - Are there wet armpits in corporate boardrooms???
When Egypt "blew" (after two other mid-eastern nations), I wondered "hmmm, how will this play in China"? Sure enough, a couple days ago China banned their people from watching reports coming from Egypt (an Egyptian blackout) because of fear that it could give "ideas" to their young males. Well, here's the bottom corporate line:

Our slimebag corporations have spit on American workers and raced around the world trying to find cheap labor and put those governments in the corporate back pocket; BUT BUT BUT cheap labor also means the fear that the "cheapies" will some day turn on them, create instability and mahem and then BINGO, there goes the slimebags' investments down the sewer in those countries. Bet American workers are looking a lot better to the slime merchants these last few days. Damn, it's just so hard to keep the slaves on the plantation these days.....enough to make the greedy cry.

4. Why?
What do corporations have to do with this? They're probably salivating at the idea of Egypt's market finally being more open.

5. Yep. After an initial blip, the stock market has shrugged off the Egyptian revolution.
But some will parse every political event into their favorite frame of Evil Corporations.

6. Corporations are why we are more unequal but much more rich than the Egyptians
I think people get stuck on the "unequal" part and don't see that, yes, in fact, the tide has lifted all boats.
