Neighbor who taunted dying girl to move as part of plea deal
Detroit— The Trenton woman who gained international notoriety last fall for taunting a terminally ill 7-year-old girl on the Internet must move from her home after pleading guilty Tuesday to assault and battery against a neighbor.

Jennifer Petkov, 33, entered the plea in Wayne Circuit Court to charges stemming from allegations that she tried to run over a neighbor with her car. Judge Carole Youngblood sentenced her to 18 months probation with a long list of conditions, including a requirement to move out of her Trenton neighborhood.

Petkov also was ordered to: Have a psychological evaluation, with treatment if recommended by probation workers.

Undergo a substance abuse evaluation, with treatment if recommended.

Attend anger management counseling.

Have no contact with next-door neighbor Tana Boling, who filed the assault complaint.

Stay out of a five-block area surrounding her old Detroit Street address.

much anymore which I'm just fine with. There are too many out of control people anymore and you can innocently be in a situation of confrontation without even doing anything to have started anything. Some people are just so totally F'ed up.

3. Well, all of metro Detroit is hoping she's not moving to
their neighborhood. She wouldn't be welcomed anywhere here. Hopefully she leaves the state.

6. Maybe a move to Death Valley
would help. She is not a person I would want for a neighbor.

9. this really doesn't seem fair to her new neighbors, whoever they may be
Part of the deal should have been that she had to live out in the country so she'd be five blocks away from anybody.

15. the woman is obviously nuts.
seeing her on tv, it was obvious she has considerable mental illness. Someone needs to get her to a psychiatrist.
