FOXLEAKS: Fox Caught Scripting Socialism Attack
Edited on Thu Feb-03-11 10:56 AM by blogslut
From Media Matters via Oliver Willis:

"Isn't that what they do in socialist countries?"

Steve Doocy's question sounded like a spontaneous reaction to what he apparently saw as the threat Barack Obama would pose to freedom of the press.

It wasn't.

The Fox News host's inflammatory question had, in fact, been scripted the night before in an email sent by a Fox producer.

The incident, which occurred on the October 27, 2008, edition of Fox & Friends, came during what appears to have been a network-wide campaign to tie Obama to socialism in the month leading up to the presidential election. Internal Fox documents obtained by Media Matters and a review of the network's pre-election coverage show that Fox hosts, producers, and other journalists were involved in the effort...

1. Funny story.

There are some posts that are 'hints' to posts.

For instance, it is possible for someone to post a line from a song to request posting that song.

That happens sometimes, but with understanding the concepts of reversed cause and effect, you can see that it is possible they prompted it to help prompt the playing not because fox scripted it, but that fox was scripted to hint for it.

Or if I wanted to play a song, and was not 100% sure of some song, fox can be scripted to post a hint to that.

Tada!!

I really don't think that is the case, just pointing out that saying someone is a puppet is degrading, much better for people to understand people are part of many different ways to reach the same goals of better ideas and helping many people.

And Ann Coulter is a tank, she is intentionally obnoxious so people will get mad at her, and not go after some that she agrees with that cause many problems.

2. WTF?
What a thoroughly enjoyable stream of consciousness! Cheers!

Fox News is a GOP network where the right-wing can relentlessly pump lies and propaganda into the American discourse under the guise of "news reporting". Even more insidious is the fact that the netowrk routinely gives tens of millions of dollars of FREE advertising to GOP candidates without ever having to declare their donation.

3. And to be an important
partner in promoting anti-government astro-turf efforts like the Baggers.

That is sedition. Could and should be prosecuted.

Will it? No. The foxes are in the hen house, the pig barn, the hayloft, the tractor barn, the farmer's wife's petticoats, etc.

Fuck, I have lost any hope for the Murkin people.

They can't and won't see through this bullshit.

4. I was talking function not data.
my point was on a series of posts.

There was a prompting to play a couple clips, although someone snuck in some distortions and had to adjust.

But my point is those that call someone a puppet by trying to control them, don't know if they are being controlled to help the person do something anyways.

so saying someone is a puppet is not admiring the talents and gifts they give to many people, which is what I try to post when posting song and music clips.

For instance, I posted this song after someone posted a lyric from it.

Baby it's cold outside
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp3UoqOkFJo

There are 100 ways to see that song, I just think it is great, Will is so funny and gives so much joy to people, and that song and that actor has been in so many great roles and shines when she is on stage.

And the song is good for so many reasons, really like that clip and those two.

Why was elf in the room? He was wearing his sunglasses, he just liked the song. Such a deep concept on concepts and thoughts. Then from there comes the entire concepts of society and how people think, based on how other people act, not on how all people act, again touching on freedom versus nanny state.

It is so beautiful.
