Official Mascot of the Tea Baggers

Not that I have anything against cute little pandas, it's just that I've never seen a group more dedicated to pandering to their base than these people. I mean come on, an "armed paramilitary group" bill in Montana? Sheesh.

4. They named themselves "teabaggers" before they knew
the common meaning. I say they get branded with this for eternity, along with the teabag as their logo. After all, while good tea can come in bags or loose, the lowest quality of tea nearly always comes in tea bags. High quality tea more often comes loose where it is free to circulate, evolve, and absorb the best of all around it. There has to be an analogy there.... ;)

No cute pandas... sorry.

5. They didn't name themselves teabaggers
They named themselves the "Tea Party"

The people who named them teabaggers knew perfectly well what they were referring to, and chose the new name for exactly that reason.
