Freeper: "No one did more to alter the course of history than Sarah Palin."
To: nhwingut
We need a conservative with courage. That limits the field to a select group like Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and Jim DeMint.

But, Sarah Palin stands head and shoulders among those people. She has been leading the fight against Obama and the liberals’ dream of socialist, sometimes single-handedly. No one did more to affect the outcome of the 2010 elections and alter the course of history than Sarah Palin.

5. I don't think John McCain stood a chance, even without her.
But think she made things appreciably worse. x(

3. There may be some truth to that.
After all, she ensured that McCain would lose the 2008 election. He probably would have lost anyhow, but she drove the last nails into his campaign's coffin.

4. I'll add this to the list of stupid things conservative people say,
next to:

"If it wasn't for Gen. Patton, we would all be speaking German."
and
"We tried to be nice before 9/11/01."

6. It's true. The only one more responsible for the Obama presidency more than Obama is Palin.

I wonder if his fellow freepers ganged up on him for that.

9. our country is lost
I'm not saying that Sarah Palin could win an election, but just think about all the people who will vote for her. What can be done about the mindset that would allow people to think that she's viable as anything other than a low-level twit with delusions of grandeur?

14. I have, it is
Post something unbelievably stupid and watch the slack-jawed yokels line up to offer a high-five.

There are lines you don't cross over there, and as long as you don't, it's good for an occasional laugh.

15. In a way it's true.
Just not the way this freeper thinks it is.

When Palin was announced as VP candidate McCain's numbers took a surge and the race tightened up. However once she began to speak those numbers tanked again, forever sealing the fate of the cranky old bastards quest for presidency.

Had McCain taken a sane and Republican base approved VP candidate the race would have been much closer, close enough for Diebold to throw another election most likely.

16. You're missing the most important part of the quote
He's saying Sarah Palin got the GOP its majority in the House all by herself.

Actually...whoever decided to spread the meme that voting for the Blue Dog in your district was just like voting for Nancy Pelosi did more to affect the outcome of the 2010 election than anyone else. It was the Blue Dogs without unelectable opponents who lost race after race.
