Oh Christ, Palin opened her mouth on Egypt.
And I now feel a headache behind my eyes, a hot pointy kind of headache too.

Washington (CNN) - Sarah Palin, in her first comments on the uprising in Egypt, called the situation President Barack Obama's 3 a.m. phone call and said, "It seems the call went right to the answering machine."

Palin, the former GOP vice presidential candidate, spoke with Christian Broadcasting Network's David Brody after her speech Friday night at the Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara, California.

In the interview, the potential Republican presidential candidate said, "We need to know what it is America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And we do not have all that information (from the administration) yet."

She told "The Brody File" she was "not real enthused about what it is that's being done on a national level and from (Washington) in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt."

7. I ran her ramblings through the Lost in Translation web page
I ran her ramblings through the Lost in Translation web site to see if I could make said ramblings any more coherent by translating them back and forth a number of times;

I entered "We need to know what it is America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And we do not have all that information (from the administration) yet."

By the end it had come back as;

"In us who the preoccupations are the American of the criterion therefore and to recognize to us assures that the their these USA of last we has the requirement they them cases in the love without material, this, in the front demarcation. And all the ours (the instruction) he does not have information."

I think the translated bit is a lot more coherent than her original statement.

2. I wonder how supportive she would have been...
...if Canada and Mexico had invaded the US after the debacle in Florida.

3. I can never decide if reading what she says is more painful or more funny.
Listening, defintely painful. Reading, can be hilarious. :)

16. Reads like she is making a SNL take-off of herself. I have trouble listening to her - if she
were saying something that I agreed with every word - her voice - which she can't help - grates on my nerves so bad that I honestly can't listen to her. Sooo, I'm reduced to just reading what she says - and it really is comical.

6. Good God.. Interviewing her on any serious issue...
is about like asking someone's precious four year old to wax philosophical on the meaning of life. When will the MSM knock this the hell off. :mad:

9. How do I define?
Edited on Sun Feb-06-11 02:50 AM by hlthe2b
Well, I said all network and cable "news" channels, (also including PBS), classical "news" periodicals like Time, US News & World Reports, etc., all the major daily newspapers, Reuters and AP, and the radio news reporting bureaus (e.g., NPR, ABC, CBS)and the websites that represent these media outlets.

10. No, now asking her questions is "gotcha politics" from the "lamestream media"
and so it don't count. Just let her talk and have her say, like a free American, and that should be good enough for anybody.

13. "We need to know what it is America stands for."
Well, she's right about that. Do we stand for democracy, or don't we?

17. I think this may be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard her say.
She really should just keep her mouth shut for awhile cause this is not a good time for Palin.

You can tell she's still frazzled by getting those 6 people killed and her responses to that and the backlash, cause this is even dumber than the things she usually says.
