Washington, Feb 6 (IANS) At least one person was killed and 11 wounded Sunday in a shooting incident near a college campus in the US state of Ohio, police said.

Police said the shooting happened in a fraternity house near the Youngstown State University campus, Xinhua reported.

The university officials said that the deceased and the six injured were students of the varsity.

Unfortunately, another black man has died because of senseless violence. Ohio police are now investigating an early morning shooting that took place near Youngstown State University.

Youngstown State University student, Jamail E. Johnson, 25, was killed at a party at his home early Sunday morning. Police say an altercation began at the fraternity party and shortly after the initial argument, gunfire erupted. A total of 12 people were shot during the exchange of gunfire, 10 of those wounded victims are expected to fully recover. Many of the victims were Jamail Johnson's fraternity brothers.
