Isn't it odd that all of this freakish snow is falling in places that have gone
really red over the last few years.

Maybe the big guy upstairs is sending them a hint to stop their wicked ways.

All that snow in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas places that went red big time.

Of course I don't believe that at all but true believers, the kind of true believers that truly think god sends trials and tribulations when things go bad in the mortal realm.

I wonder what kind of punishment old Pat Robertson would be using to explain the terrible weather if these states were Blue...

1. Deep blue Connecticut had 60 inches this Jan.
It's just a bad winter.

2. I live in the deep south (almost north FL) and it's snowed the last 3 years in a row.

3. I think 2 or 3 years back Brownsville Texas got more
snow than here in Lexington KY. Not this year though, we are on track for a top 10 snowfall record for the year.

4. Umm, despite the election of Scott Brown, MA is still very blue, and we've gotten POUNDED

11. Well, it may not judge, but...
snow actually does prefer to be blue rather than red...

6. Uhh, that same storm also pwned Chicago hard
20+ inches, both ORD and MDW shut down due to 300' runway visibility (WELL below minimums for takeoffs/landings), Lake Shore Drive shut down with stranded drivers trapped there for 12+ hours...

Chicago is very blue. As others have said, it's just a bad winter in general, and to be honest threads like this make us look no better than 700 Club fundies ranting that God sent Hurricane Katrina to wipe out sin and other assorted weather judgment tripe.

8. No, they'll rationalize it away...Arkansas has snow because
California had same sex marriage or some such stupidity.

The folks in Goober Holler are well connected to god's truths.

12. I didn't realize it was only snowing
in red states. Seems like that would make the news.

13. Hey everybody: he was kidding.
Did anybody read this sentence:

Of course I don't believe that at all but true believers, the kind of true believers that truly think god sends trials and tribulations when things go bad in the mortal realm.

I believe you could say this post was firmly tongue-in-cheek...
