Joe the Plumber filed a lawsuit against the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
I found this on Jack Ryan's SCRIBD account:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/27303002/WURZELBACHER-v-JONES-KELLY-et-al-1-COMPLAINT-24809575-Wurzelbacher-v-Jones-Kelley-Complaint-2-09-Cv-162?in_collection=2345966

Joe is filing a lawsuit for unspecified damages against the three employees of the agency he said leaked information about him after his discussion with then candidate Obama was on the news.

One interesting item in the filing is this:
Plaintiff was in the front yard of his home near Toledo, Ohio on October 12,
2008, throwing a football with his son, when then-presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama -3-
and his campaign entourage appeared on his street. Plaintiff eventually joined the crowd and
asked several questions of Senator Obama.

Notice the wording, "Plaintiff eventually joined the crowd...". I believe at the time Joe claimed that Obama came right by his front yard. We on DU figured out that Wurzelbacher had to walk several blocks to seek out Obama. The news reports at the time all framed it as if Joe was in his front yard. To my knowledge, he as never admitted this before.

1. Expect a twitter message in support from Sarah Palin soon
- from the ubiquitous twit, that is.

3. But did he really have a reasonable expectation of privacy?
It was information gathered by a government agency and should be available for all to access.
