We have DADT repeal, a child nutrition bill, the Local Community Radio Act, extension of unemployment benefits, middle class tax cut extensions and of course all that other stuff in the tax bill...

Um, mooooooving on...

Ratification of the START treaty looks good and so does the 9/11 healthcare bill too.

Maybe we should call it the Strong Duck session(?)

Pretty damned good if you ask me!

And it's pissing of the republicans too, so that's even better!

2. I recall many people calling Harry Reid a wimp, but he is doing a great job,
and, yes the republicans - especially the teabaggers - are being put into situations they don't like, which makes things that much better.

Let's enjoy this and remember it when the bad guys take over.

4. The Dems could've held onto the House
If they would have passed all this stuff before the election, they would have KICKED ASS. I am absolutely dumbfounded what the fuck they were doing before the election.

15. A lot of them spent those 2 years..
coming to terms with an AA commander and chief and some still can't get over it,and that is why they will be losing some more seats.

They couldn't work together to kick some republicon ass, they sat back and watch and some even joined in.

After the election some got scared and some like Rep Shuler are even more emboldened to work with and condone the TEABAGGERS and all of their antics..

7. Yeah, they're finally exercising the discipline over the Blue Dogs
that they should have been exercising for the whole two years in order to get the most important stuff passed before the Republican crazy people take over for two years.

8. Unfortunately productivity will come to a grinding halt when the teabaggers are seated.
I wonder if anyone will bother to notice? Eh MSM?

18. I'm thinking maybe not. When Repugs begin to eat their own
it could be quite entertaining.

9. The session isn't lame, just like the media that Palin calls lame isn't lame
The only 'lame stream media' is FoxNews and Palin is part of that ;)

Seems like there's been more worked on and accomplished in the so called lame duck session than what was done in the six months prior to it.

12. You're right
They need to stay every minute before Issa gets his subpoena power and turns the place into the new century's Starr Chamber.

Going to be a disgusting thing to see in 2011. Only hoping they don't shut down the government as they promised the Tea Party.

The upper 2% got theirs and the 99ers were abandoned.
