A budget question..

It is my understanding that when President Obama took office, he took all the stuff that bush had hidden 'off budget' -the Iraq war to name one-, and put them back into the general budget.. This is what caused the mainstay of the deficit uptick during the past two years, not, as the repug say, a wild spending spree.

Having said that, I do understand that it will take a lot of time, effort and money to repair the damage done during the bush years, but I can't see a wild spending spree occurring this time.

Is this close or was I absent the day this was discussed?
