I am just disgusted... disgusted with republicans.. disgusted with

Democrats... I am disgusted with all our supposed leaders. HOW can you fight to keep to the tax breaks for the wealthy one month... just about put the country on it's knees or willing to do so. Forcing Obama to cave to the demands and now barely a few weeks later threatening to shutdown the government again because they want to take more from the poor. I also know this must be part of the republicans plan, to piss everyone off so the opposition looks as bad as you are. Because I am as pissed at the Democratic leaders as the republicans for not being able to stop the greedy bastards.

I don't know the answers... but NOTHING ... NOTHING looks as disgusting as giving the tax breaks for the wealthy in one breath and the elimination of social programs for the poor in the next breath.

I had been laid off for over a year and a half... I got called back...but unfortunately I was only able to work for about a month before I was laid off again. I hear from friends still working there that the owner is hiring and firing people weekly. He thinks the owner is losing it. With that news I collected my last unemployment check last week.

DISGUSTING!

A colleague of my wife just had her husband lose his job a couple of weeks ago. They were barely making it as it was...now are going to lose their home and may have to file bankruptcy.

I don't know what my wife and I are going to do. Fortunately for me my wife is working and has some insurance...but our co-pays are going thru the roof and as a family with two diabetics our out of pocket expenses are now in the thousands per year and going up yearly. My wife has been a diabetic for nearly 50 years.. although she keeps good care of herself and is in relatively good health, her glucose levels can drop severely very quickly for no good reason. Especially overnight... if her glucose levels drop at night she sometimes can't help herself. For those of you that have diabetes, you understand what that means... if someone isn't there to help... she dies. That is a part of our lives...we live with that thought everyday. That is one reason I can't work away from home or take a job that has a night shift for fear she will need help. Yet..for 50 years my wife has heard..."The cure is right around the corner! Within five years!" Bullshit... we have been lied too and mislead our whole lives and I for one am tired of it.

DID I TELL YOU I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED!!

and I agree 100%. I do not know who the man in the White House is, but he is not the man I voted for. When I think of the 2012 elections I feel like it will be a choice of voting for the septic tank with the least shit.

And this coming from someone who just barely avoided prison, who is damn near broke, fighting an addiction to alcohol and cigarettes, other-than-honorably discharged from the military, and going through therapy for PTSD from Afghanistan.

I have learned that some way, some how, things seem to work out. I have experienced enough to know that.

However, it doesn't make it any easier getting through the difficult times.
