28. Scary, isn't it? Who's next....gw? What possible justification
could accompany this highest award? I know, too many questions. I guess I should have known this could happen after learning early in 2009 that the President was letting bygones be such and that as a country we must move forward! At the time, I thought he was speaking in regard to gw but I guess it was for the entire family! :puke:

We serfs should always remember our place in society, and not question our Masters' decisions.

Orwell- "Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again: but already it was impossible to say which was which."

23. Whenever I see Democrats, like the Clintons and now the Obamas
paying homage to the Bush Crime Clan, I regret every disagreement I have ever had with Republican friends and family members where I tried to defend them. Now, my disagreements are different. I ask them what do THEY think when the see, that while we are fighting among ourselves over these politicians, THEY are all laughing at us as they drink cocktails at their elite club where none of us, from either side, will ever be welcome.

At least the Clintons waited until after he left office to fawn over the Bushes.

Disgusing. We're like some third world dictatorship where the more crimes against humanity a 'strongman' commits, the more revered he is.

70. I know exactly what you mean
about the disagreements. I feel really bad that I defended Clinton as I did in the 1990s. I now feel he is beneath contempt.

This nation is truly in a world of hurt and these presidents, all of them, did very little during their term in office that was positive. Much of what they did caused lasting harm to the American people. I will not forgive them.

One thing for sure. I won't be fooled again. And I do mean that.

I'd have to assert that the Bush cabal took Milton Friedman's sociopathic and hedonistic economic paradigm and helped make it a grim reality around the globe. They were not alone in this--the Corporate Megalomaniacs (of which they are but one family among a tiny group of such greedy 'elites') have been complicit in sucking up all the wealth and power on the planet.

58. I will say one thing in favor of this Bush over Obama.
He knew that military force, if you decide to apply it, should be applied with extreme power and for a short duration with clear goals.

Also, if using force, seek the help and approval of the rest of the world.

He did that well, if one can call the murder of people 'doing something well'.

They are directly responsible for many of the insurmountable problems facing this nation today.

82. George Bush I does not look at all well.
I think that is why he was given the Medal of Honor at this time. He appears to have difficulty interacting with people. He was always confused, but it looks like it is getting worse. Barbara Bush's expression is that of a caretaker.

87. George Sr looks
like he is not long for this world, and this strange charade is being done reluctantly by President Obama because of that. This looks like everyone is just going through the motions, and not even pretending to be happy.
