Kelsey Grammer's "Right Network" offers Samuel "Joe The Plumber" Weaselburger a show. USA! USA! USA!

There's good news for all you fans of Samuel J. "Joe the 'Plumber'" Wurzelbacher today. Dave Weigel reports that the folks over at the Right Network have created and/or saved him a job as the host of a new show called "Whaddya Know Joe?" As the Right Network can be thought of as the conservative version of Current TV, "Whaddya Know Joe?" can basically be considered the conservative version of "InfoMania." It appears to be shot on the same set that they shot all of those "Rick Barber Talks To Zombie Presidents" campaign ads.

Prior to this, Wurzelbacher was some sort of foreign correspondent for Pajamas Media. They sent him to Israel, and years later, Ricky Gervais would steal that idea to build a show for Karl Pilkington. Later, Wurzelbacher cut commercials for some flat-tax/1-900 number scam/scheme, that we saw on YouTube.

1. So, I guess Kelsey needs a huge tax write-off?
That network won't last long, and will hemorrhage money.

12. It will hemorrhage money, but probably will last.
Many of those AM radio wingnut talk shows don't make money but they keep on with their crap regardless.

He's a twisted sex freak and can't maintain a stable relationship, so I guess it follows.

Fortunately, his estranged wife was smart enuf not to get a prenup, so he'll probably have a lot less moola for shit like this, though.

Kelsey Grammer’s Right Network — Launched Today — Is Wrong For America

by David Badash on September 8, 2010

http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/kelsey-grammers-right-network-launched-today-is-wrong-for-america/politics/2010/09/08/12652

The Right Network is a media attempt to give credibility to right-wing hate and fear-mongering, conservative bigotry, and Republican talking points.

Crescendoing in silence, the biggest launch of a new TV network that no one seems to have heard about, after a late premiere and zero buzz, The Right Network opened for business today. And flopped.

With philandering poster boy Kelsey Grammer as its mascot and money source, the Right Network, whose tagline is “All that’s right with the world,” is exactly what’s wrong with the world, and especially, wrong with America.

Grammer, in an introductory video, of course, with a Chuck Norris mention, cries out to say, “We give status quo a case of the flop-sweats. We offer a one-way ticket out of town, to pretension, posturing, Pelosi, and poppycock.”

Right…

In an AP press release, Grammer is quoted as saying he launched The Right network, “to stop allowing people who hate us to define us.”

9. The Right Network isn't on TV like Current TV is
Edited on Thu Feb-17-11 07:39 PM by Tx4obama
As far as I can tell The Right Network is not on Comcast etc., it's online on Hulu and iTunes and places like that.
So I can't see it being compared to Current TV which is actually carried by Comcast, Direct TV etc. Once Keith Olbermann's new show airs on Current TV, in the spring, the viewers on Current will sky rocket :)

There is a list of places to watch The Right Network on their website on the right side 2/3 down on their page at http://www.rightnetwork.com/
Comcast, DishNetwork, etc are NOT listed there.

Edited to fix link.
