Wisconsin State Capitol, aka The Thunderdome!
Biggest crowd yet today, more planned for tomorrow. Governor Walker, you're in our house, now. And who are we?--We're Volunteers of America...Badger Rescue Brigade!

Whatever else happens, this week America has witnessed the proud Wisconsin progressive spirit, alive and strong. And who knows, some day the history books may even say, It was on a day in February, in Madison, Wisconsin, when a spark of resistance to right-wing insanity lit a fire that swept across the nation.

8. it's been difficult . . .
I have windows and I watch so many parading by with their signs.

I walk up on my lunch and walk around the square (except I was still sick Monday).

Some of my friends are practically living up there. One friend - a teacher and union something or other - has been there practically non-stop!

I too am so proud of "us". It is so immensely moving to see it in action.

10. This what happens when a progressive state makes a mistake
and elects people who don't truly represent the state's values.

We need to make it right.

12. Huh, better than MY photos
It's awesome in the capitol - got home a while ago from our third day there. It can get deafening in there, especially when the firefighters march through. SOLIDARITY! :patriot:

This has renewed my pride in Wisconsin, which had been badly shaken last Friday when Walker made his announcement about this bill.

I love my state! :fistbump:

14. Glad to see them there
If it wasn't so far away I'd join them. Its high time our politicians remember that the Capital both State and National are for the business of the people and not for their lobbyists and corporate ambassadors.
