Missing Dem Senators Seek Help to Stay Missing via Act Blue
http://www.actblue.com/page/solidarity

On Thursday, February 17th all fourteen Democratic members of the Wisconsin State Senate left the Senate chambers in protest over Governor Walker's assault on working families in Wisconsin.

Their actions stopped the GOP controlled Senate from ramming through legislation that would put an end to collective bargaining rights in Wisconsin.

The bill, introduced just last week, met with widespread protest throughout Wisconsin. Over the last week tens of thousands of people from all around the State descended upon the State Capitol to make their voices heard.

Unfortunately, Governor Walker and his handpicked supporters in both houses of the legislature turned a deaf ear.

The Wisconsin Senate Democrats are committed to using the legal processes of the Wisconsin State Senate to force the GOP to cease their assault on working families.

Show your support for the State Senate Democrats in Wisconsin, and help them keep up the fight for the working men and women around Wisconsin, and around the country.

if the governor has the constitutional power to convene the legislature?

I have trouble reconciling those mutually exclusive "absolutes."

9. Thank you.
This is a perfect example of the power of the new media. All sorts of people who might not have seen the original ActBlue email are already tuned in on the message from the WI Dem Senators. It sends chills down my spine when I think about it.
