Ray McGovern, 27 year CIA hand: Thank you

He was on Amy Goodman's DemocracyNow! He reported to George H.W. Bush as a CIA senior analyst. Now he's standing up against our foreign policy as a member of Veterans for Peace.
They showed pics of his injuries and it looks like he was hurt pretty badly. Hillary ignored it and just continued on.

This week, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a major address calling for Internet freedom around the world. As Clinton condemned the Egyptian and Iranian governments for arresting and beating protesters, former U.S. Army and CIA officer Ray McGovern was violently ejected from the audience and arrested after he stood up and turned his back in a silent protest of America’s foreign policy. Ray McGovern joins us from Washington, D.C.

Ray McGovern, former senior CIA analyst whose duties included preparing the President’s Daily Brief and chairing National Intelligence Estimates. He was beaten and arrested while silently protesting a speech by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton this week. He is a member of the group, Veterans for Peace.
