Big Ed: "I knew this day was coming for a long time."
Yesterday, Thursday, on his radio show he said "I knew this day was coming for a long time."

He was referring to the protests in Wisconsin. He said he knew it was coming when they started their radio show in 2004.

I guess he knows that eventually people are pushed too far. We have had thirty years of union-busting starting in 1981 with Reagan and people are fed up.

4. I have a friend in the NJ Education Association
She's a union representative at the school where she teachers. The NJEA has been boiling for years about the way an earlier repuke governor ripped off their pensions to pay for something completely unrelated.

In recent years the pukes have been trying to take away NJ teachers' pensions altogether. The union has held mass demonstrations in Trenton for a number of years.

I would not be surprised in NJ teachers follow the lead of those in Wisconsin.

6. Although the news media aren't reporting it, the same thing is happening in OH.
They already reduced the COLA that everyone was under contract to receive.

Now they are trying to make huge changes in many provisions of the pensions, even for people within 5 years of retirement. The teachers and other workers lived up to their end of the contract. The state should be obliged to live up to theirs. I hope a class action suit is filed.

10. Christine Todd Whitman, right?
Didn't she steal from their pension which caused all those problems?

Who was ranting on his show how wrong the people of Wisconsin are. A face to face confrontation would be amazing.

11. The Regime of Corporations and their Henchmen
are now raining a plague of dismantling upon us so thick that it is fomenting a growing reaction. I am hearing people talk about things in ways that are surprisingly relevant, both online and in person.

This is a good time to relate, network and provide channels for people to express what has been building-up collectively. It may emerge on its own now, yet it needs to be nurtured in the way a dedicated gardener tends to a flower.
