A Message from the 14

Friends -
It has now been over 50 hours since 14 Senators courageously left the floor of the Wisconsin State Senate, halting Scott Walker's attempt to eliminate the rights of working people in Wisconsin to collectively bargain for decent wages, fair benefits, and safe working conditions.

Yesterday the 14 Senators sent a letter to Governor Walker urging him to listen to the voices of the tens of thousands of people who have descended each day on the State Capitol to advocate for the rights of working families.

He blatantly refused.
Worse still, Governor Walker's special interest allies immediately began attempts to bully the state Senators into giving up their historic fight. Late last night the GOP front group "Club for Growth" began a series of false and misleading attack ads.

Our message to Governor Walker's attack dogs: We will not be bullied

Help our Senators fight back against these lies, by giving them the resources they need to continue their stand for Wisconsin's working families.

While the Republicans may be more than willing to resort to their old dirty tricks, we all know that time and public opinion is not on their side.

Today nearly 100,000 supporters again rallied at the State Capitol. In other parts of the state thousands of people took part in local rallies supporting the Democratic State Senators and urging them to continue their fight.

Today, I'm asking you join with them in showing your support.

Sincerely,

Kory W. Kozloski

Executive Director, Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee

Paid for by the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee, Jon Erpenbach, Treasurer.
