I want to share a message from Wisconsin

I have a friend who is a professor in Wisconsin and my wife and wrote to him to show our support. I've removed his name but here is his response:

Thanks for thinking of me and for your words of encouragement. I actually just returned from Madison, and the support there is amazing. Something of a silver lining, I guess. Even more touching, for me, has been to see the support from students on my campus. It made me realize that while the university does do a good deal to try to make faculty feel appreciated, their efforts can't hold a candle to a single kind gesture or word from a student I recognize from my classes.
