they need to make concessions to balance the budget, or let Wall Street take over SS, and forget getting sick, because Medicare has to be cut also.

to keep up with the lies in real time.

Sometimes I just have to see it for myself vs relying on Media Matters.

6. Oh Yes

I love their smug little grins, as they wag their fingers at us.

"Now, now, Kids. It's impolite to want a decent income, shelter, enough food and basic health care when your nation is suffering so. And we TV corporate hacks know so much about hard work and suffering!"

The joke is on them. If we continue to batter the middle class and let more and more sink into poverty, the TV propagandists won't be employed for long. Once the corporations don't need them anymore, they'll be sent home and the scenery taken down...as Zappa once described ...

7. Well if middle class people wanted the government to look out for them
they should have raised hundreds of millions (billions?) of dollars and bribed . . . sorry offered campaign contributions to both parties every election.

8. Never let a millionare tell you he knows what it is like to be a working
poor person or that they can relate to a middle class family. Maybe when they were 4, but not now. Now there agenda is to JUST MAKE MORE MONEY. And how will they do that?

11.  pay for anything.
Edited on Sun Feb-20-11 12:58 PM by whattheidonot
the corporatist in power do not want to be taxed for anything. They want control and promise that once the government is out of business then we will all be better off. Everything will be privatized and everybody will be making a good living and be able to pay for things. They just about own everything already. So everyone should be better off now. it is hard to believe all this debt and deficit problem stuff when 1% of the people own some ungodly amount of everything and do not pay much to maintain it.
Once it is all in their hands then they will have to produce and if they do not then we can fight them without question. It is a contrived crisis to change the system and it has worked so far.

13. Well, you see
it's because all those middle class people are elitists and they need rich people to tell them how not to be elitist.

Yeah, I don't get it either.
