I think the pizza thing is great. Just trying to bring some diversity to the fighters in the Capital....

Any links to some Madison food places that will deliver other stuff than pizza?

9. How many of the restaurants on the list are run by progressives or moderates?
Ian Pizza looks legit. I would rather the protesters eat home packed food that support a restaurant owned by a right winger.

This is a great opportunity to feed the protesters and help local progressives!

5. The owner of Jimmy Johns is a RW asshole who was whining about his high taxes in Illinois
I might reconsider that one.

6. Good point. Just trying to get some diet diversity to the people in the Capital!
I see that there are people from all over ordering food. The major chains typically take a credit card over the phone and deliver. I'm not in Madison so I'm just trying to broaden our scope.

18. I used to work for Jimmy Johns in Milwaukee
I don't know if it's the same owner, but that guy was a total asshole. Wouldn't have been surprised if he was a Republican.

The sandwiches are great though.

19. It was the corporate CEO who was complaining about Il taxes.
And threatening to move corp HQ to Florida. Asshole. Local franchisees may not share his views.

There's got to be a Jimmy John's in Madison. They're in most Midwestern campus towns.

20. Oh, there is.
It's right downtown, too. Might even be close to Ians... I could be thinking of a different pizza place, though. I don't go downtown too often. I don't know how late they're open, though.

Glass Nickel Pizza is terrific and has liberal ownership.

13. The folks at Glass Nickel were great, more than willing to help. They have a great online menu
too, lots of different things.

I chose the Cinna-Nuggs, thinking the hot, gooey sugary-ness would be pretty good in the cold, and that they'd be easy to eat for people without tables.
