Recal movements in Wisconsin?
I was wondering if there are any recall movements yet organized in Wisconsin, specifically against the Republican State Senators? Many of them won with 51% or so of the vote, making them prime targets to knock off in a recall. Anyone heard anything? I think that needs to be the focus.

1. There have been some posts here about this.
Maybe someone here can post a link to the details.

Eight of the repub senators can be recalled NOW. The petition movement is getting under way right now.

My daughter spoke with the people who are getting the petition drives started when she was inside the capitol in Madison yesterday. She cannot sign any petitions, because all her representatives, in Madison, are good Democrats. But she has signed up to check and double check signatures after they have been gathered. You know that the repubs will challenge every signature, so things have to be done perfectly.

You are correct - many of the pubbies won their elections by narrow margins. Wisconsin is traditionally a Democratic state. It took a lot of repub money to get those people to win close elections. May they have short careers!

2. I didn't know that eight senators are "eligible" - that's great news! Have ANY
republicans said they would vote against the Governor?

4. Half the WI Senators are halfway thru their 2 year terms.
All those elected over a year ago are at risk for recall.

10. Am I Sensing Buyers Remorse In Wisconsin?
They just had to get rid of the Democrats in the last election so why are they shocked when they get what they voted for?

11. Looking for someone to blame? How about the 100s of thousands of Democratic voters
who couldn't be bothered to vote in the 2010 fall elections, but did vote in 2008. Evidently it wasn't exciting enough to vote in 2010 as it was in 2008. So how did that turn out?

Yes, in 2008 here in Wisconsin over 800,000 more people voted than did in 2010. Walker only won by less than 125,000 so do the math. Choosing not to vote has consequences as well.
