Does Anybody Know Whether The Pro-Walker Wisconsin Protesters Were Actually From ........
Wisconsin?

I didn't hear anything yesterday about this. Am I to assume that these pro-Walker people were from Wisconsin or were they bussed in from other states just to rabble rouse like Mubarak's goons?

1. Some were some weren't. As I drove back to 'tosa
there were many t-baggers passing me (they tend not to obey the speed limit--imagine that!) and you could tell by protest signs in the windows, or bumper stickers that they supported Walker and union busting. I counted 6 Lamar rent-a-busses parked in various locations on the Isthmus. I don't know whose side had hired them. AFSCME and AFT were busing in union members from around the state, and I think I read that SEIU sent a bus up from the Chicago area.

Because the protest has come into the national spotlight both sides have out-of-state support. Apparently the protesters even have pizza support from Egypt!

2. I saw a lot of people who I am sure were from Wisconsin

because they were wearing Badger and Packer gear that they didn't buy yesterday or carrying signs from the 2010 campaign. I'm sure some were bussed in, but I actually talked to a few people walking back to their cars who drove in from around the state to support Scott Walker. He does have supporters. Believe me, there are Republicans in Wisconsin, even in Madison.

On the way to the rally Saturday (in Madison) I saw a man with a sign that said "If W fails, the country fails". It took me a moment to digest it because he was holding up the Wisconsin W that usually stands for the team. But he meant Walker.

5. The Koch bros. hired buses to drive in out-of-state teabaggers
and there's an organized movement within the teabaggers to pose as SIEU members/supporters and try and discredit the movement through their actions and statements.

7. Effluvia from the local sewage treatment plant.
And just about as smart.

Useful tools of the Oligarchs protesting against their own livelihoods; fools, the lot of 'em.
