Good grief - look at that. We're at the second couplet now.

1. Wow - talk about that "lessons from history...doomed to repeat" cliche.
I hope to God people are waking up.

What really concerns me is the symbolic wall against which our backs are up. ('Zat correct, grammatically?)

Our side has no choice on this. No wiggle room. We HAVE TO win this. We HAVE TO prevail. There are no other options. Because if we lose this, that's IT. Unions are broken. Watch workers' rights start evaporating as the big greedy corporations plead poverty. And watch the Citizens United ruling NEVER EVER EVER be repealed or rolled back or otherwise nullified.

And as ronald reagan even said - watch us grow old and wind up telling our grandchildren about the America WE once knew.

"WiFi" is an extremely local thing belonging to each individual premises with an internet connection. It's not something that can just be turned off by government dictate.

in a post earlier today. pointing out that the firefighters and police in WI are behind the protests even though they were spared walker's knife. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that nobody is safe.

12. That's the really scary part.
Their side has lots of wiggle room. Our side has NONE. There is no other way out for our side. We HAVE TO win this. We HAVE TO prevail. The bad guys HAVE TO back down. And there's a lot of momentum and support on their side.

I'm just flummoxed over why we are STILL fighting these battles. Why we are STILL arguing these points. This shit should all have been over and done with long ago.
