Calling Republicans the Hypocrites They Are
Why don't the Dems ever call the Republicans for what they are ... hypocrites masquerading as the party of the people. Why don't they, in a measured way that appeals to reason, make the public see what the Republicans are doing? Why do Dems continue to let Republicans define them in the most deceitful distorted way? It's like they're a bunch of wimps. I'm not looking for the Dems to act like liberal versions of the right wing demagogues. The Dems don't have to lie, they can tell the people the truth. But they have to tell it effectively and in a way that people get. And they have to learn how to communicate their policies effectively too. Why is this so difficult?

For my take at addressing this issue, see by YouTube video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEaSFIHbzHk

1. The few Dems who try are shouted down by the RW echo chamber.
When the right owns the media, the messaging is not nearly as simple as you believe.

3. Oh come on
The right doesn't own the media any more than Jews control banking. Yes, they control alot of the media, but that's not the problem. It's not like the Dems are saying the right things and the word isn't getting out. They just aren't saying what they need to be saying.

2. When one of the Dems gets a backbone, the Chamber of communist Commerce attacks
and destroys them.
What's wrong with the Dems? The only thing I see is that they are keeping their mouths shut that they can get some corporate money for their campaigns.
Both parties are screwing the middle class and the poor. When is it going to end? I don't know, but it sets the stage for a conflict in which those abused will settle scores and demand more rights. What's the Dems going to do? So far, obviously nothing. At least the Democrats in the Wisconsin Assembly have some balls. I lived their for years. The conservanazi propaganda blared on the AM airwaves continously. I mean 24/7. Each preaching basically the same talking point.

Now, we see how they do it, what's the Dems doing about it? Not a f*cking thing.
I was a donor to many Democratic Party groups. I quit after Pelosi said "impeachment is not on the table". The only thing I could figure is that the corporate bribers told her to do it or they didn't want to appear vindictive. Well, what has happened? The conservanazis are stomping on our rights and the other party is not doing a thing. Well, if they ain't part of the solution, then they are part of the problem.

It goes back to a saying I like to repeat: We've got the best f*cking democracy money can buy.

Goodbye freedom. The corporations are going to rule.

5. Yes, but
Clearly corporations have and will continue to have an enormous influence in Congress, regardless what kind of campaign financing laws are in place. The point is that even with that, Democrats will steer things in the direction of the policy preferences, whereas the Republicans just sell out to their donors. They have NO interest in the plight of the average American. I do not agree that the Dems are screwing the middle class and the poor ... they may not be doing as much for them as I would like, but putting them in the same category as the Republicans just isn't the way it is.
