doesn't hurt Jeanne, et al.'s chances for finding a publisher. I thought most of the time when a manuscript is leaked, it's already in a publisher's hands.


I'm not sorry, though, that this info is getting out. Just wish it could have waited for the release of the book.

But the article was not clear on how he got a copy. Have you heard any more?

about how he got the copy, but everyone here close to the project seems sure that he is the one who leaked it. It's possible he was given a copy to "peer review" since he spent quite a bit of time with several of the bloggers up here while he was researching his own book and was "brought into the fold," but I have no way of knowing this -- only that Jeanne and Linda Kellen-Biegel (Celtic Diva), both of whom I know, feel deeply betrayed.

What I can't figure out is why he would do such a thing and risk his own reputation. There is certainly enough dirt floating around about Sarah to fuel many, many books. It's hard to conceive that he would risk it all like this just to get a scoop.

I'm sure everyone would be much less upset if a publisher had already accepted the manuscript. With so much of the contents being public knowledge now, it might discourage sales.
