Since the country and the world is broke,

I'm seriously thinking of going rural and becoming as self sufficient as I can. Drill a well for water, grow crops, and raise livestock. Add in some solar, and I can get off the grid. Too many people are sucking the life out of what was once the national treasury. These blood suckers need to understand that there's NO MORE MONEY! Can't they get it through their greedy little brains? Rant over.

BTW, any property for sale in central NC near the Haw, Deep, or Cape Fear rivers?

There is plenty of wealth in the world, but the problem is that a very high percentage of it is controlled by 0.1% of the population.

3. I lived off the grid for four years in the early 70's.

I highly recommend it. It is never too late to learn what it takes to survive on a basic level and understand from whence your resources come and to which they go.
