Group Begins Recall Effort of Green Bay Sen. Hansen, 7 Others

MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - A group based in Utah has begun the process of recalling eight Democratic state Senators from office.

American Recall Coalition filed the paperwork Tuesday with the Government Accountability Board.

The group has 60 days to collect roughly 16,000 signatures to force a recall vote. Although the exact number varies based on how many votes were cast in the governor's race in the targeted district.

The eight are Dave Hansen, Lena Taylor, Jim Holperin, minority leader Mark Miller, Spencer Coggs, Robert Wirch, Julie Lassa, and Fred Risser.
