The tide has turned on Walker.
His best opportunity past when he refused to even sit down with Democrats and negotiate.

In doing so his hubris showed through and public opinion shifted dramatically to think of the Democrats defense as being nobler than Walkers ambition.

Walkers showed bad timing, raw un-sophisticated if not brutish ambition and he pissed most everyone off and disappointed even more...not to mention cutting short a much needed super bowl party diversion.

So now...we have the underdog. The Wisconsin 14 as they will be known....gallantly defending 60 years of labor's progress in Wisconsin. It is one thing all Wisconsinites agree on is that we are proud of our progressive history as we are proud of our colorful and noisy politics both public and professional local and national.

THis whole Walker episode is a unfortunate aberration in Wisconsin politics that will be remembered as a perfect example of the heavy handed GOP of the new millennium and as being too much too soon and too cruel to be Wisconsin.

1. Can Walker Be Recalled?
Edited on Tue Feb-22-11 11:34 PM by Vogon_Glory
Can 'Hosni' Walker be recalled by Wisconsin voters or at least forced into a recall election? I think that a successful recall effort would be a wonderful way to handicap the TEAb@ggers in Wisconsin, and would put the wind up their arrogant counterparts elsewhere.

2. 12 month wait to force a recall on newly elected Governor
They have to have at least one year under the belt.....

Already groups are mobilizing and a several pre-petitions are being started...

You can bet Walker believes in recalls. We got his start in politics as County Executive due to a recall...

Watch him back pedal....by Friday...

We won.

Its over, he lost and it is now just a timing thing and damage control on his part.

5. I would warn that you should not wait for a recall and search for lawsuits and illegal activity. Am
sure there is something. He will do a ton of damage if left in office.
The Conservative Corporations will not stop. No trust should be held by anyone in WI. on this situation. Nor in the Country.

10. I am pretty sure there was election fraud in WI as well as MN. if not elsewhere.

11. We can't ignore these voting computers any longer -- despite Dem Party inaction!!!
The voting computers began coming in during the late 1960's --

I'd question every election back to Nixon/Humphrey!

Also, keep in mind the LARGE computers used by MSM also have played a role

-- 2000 election recall, for one. They began coming in during mid-1960's and

gave MSM immense new powers to predict and call elections!

See: Votescam -- The Stealing of America --

an investigation by two Florida journalists in the late 1960s based on the odd

election results and lack of evidence for the results in Florida!!

8. Yep. He blew it, even with many of his supporters
last Friday when he revealed that it was really not about the money. FYI, anecdotally, the people I knew who supported him in November were not strong supporters to begin with. More of the "hold your nose and vote" ilk.
