Fingers cut by snowblower in pit bull attack

(DETROIT) State Sen. Bert Johnson said he nearly lost several fingers in a snowblower Monday, while fending off an attacking pit bull.

The 37-year-old Democrat said he was operating the machine on his driveway in Highland Park about 3:30 p.m. when the dog approached.

"I don't know from which direction, but there was a pit bull and he walked into the driveway," Johnson said Tuesday. "He looked at me, and I looked at him, and then he charged."

Johnson said he tried to run because he had nothing to try to stop the dog.

2. bad enough that idiots keep breeding these dogs

backyard breeders who have no clue about actually selecting good parents, but then the dog apparently is wandering around loose? So when the dog gets caught attacking someone else, HE'LL be the one euthanized.

Idiots.
