Gov. Walker Informed That Bill Targeting Unions May Cost State $46 Million In Federal Funds
Let's see, Walker refuses $810M for high speed rail, gives back $23M federal grant to extend broadband fiber to schools and libraries, and spends $140M on special interest groups to create a crisis which will require the state to return $46M of highway funds.

So far, he is costing Wisconsin over $1B. And in less than 2 months in office. As my protest sign said yesterday, "It's a Walker Crisis -- Not a Budget Crisis!"

From today's Huffingtonpost,

"Budget referees and transportation officials in Wisconsin have informed Gov. Scott Walker (R) that if he were to pass his controversial anti-union legislation into law, he could be forfeiting tens of millions of dollars in federal funds for transportation.

Under an obscure provision of federal labor law, states risk losing federal funds should they eliminate "collective bargaining rights" that existed at the time when federal assistance was first granted. The provision, known as "protective arrangements" or "Section 13C arrangements," is meant as a means of cushioning union (and even some non-union) members who, while working on local projects, are affected by federal grants."

1. ... and does Walker care? Nope.
He's got his marching orders from the Koch's, and he believes that they are going to march him all the way to the White House.
He's got his eye on his own bottom line - the people of WI just happen to be in the way.

3. Gov. Wanker is a man who has "his way, or the highway".
Well, Wanker, that road is going to have lots and lots of potholes. I say let him have his way and teach the conservanazis of Wisconsin just how great the conservanazis are. :kick:

5. Where are the democrats?
Where is the message from the democrats that what is going on in Wisconsin (Wis Cons In?)
that what Walker is doing is destroying government?

Where is Obama telling us that what Walker is doing is shrinking government so it can be drowned in the bathtub?

Why don't we hear the news from democrats? Instead it comes from huffpost.

Is it any wonder the Cons are running right over us since we are so wimpy?

6. When your enemy is destroying himself, you just don't get
in his way. Right now, Walker has a fistfull of anchors and is teetering on the edge of the dock.

7. That is a fanciful explanation
Walker has a lot of support and the idea of eliminating government has a lot of support.

Are we destined to nothing more than reactions?

Why isn't the party acting? Why don't they spell out the consequences of tearing down the unions?

Where's my frigging job, and what is the party doing about jobs? Hell, they won't even come out and support the workers in government, should I really expect they give a shit about me?
